Jones Center Offers Action-Packed Kids Night Out

FFKN, first friday kids night, moms night out, parents night, jones center, springdale

Blood. Sweat. Tears. Gold.

Are your kids excited for the Olympics?

Olympic athletes compete every four years for a prize that only one of them can achieve per event- a golden medal signifying their greatness. That athlete can say he or she is the current greatest in that sport.

This month, we’re continuing The Jones Center’s First Friday Kids Night event, and what way to get kids excited about this parents’ night out than with the theme “Go for the Gold.”
If your kids didn’t get to experience last month’s FFKN, they missed an entire evening of a good time. It was a high-energy 4 hours packed with different activities designed to get kids up off their feet and celebrating our nation’s Independence Day. We started off with inflatables, had open gym and the Just Dance game, enjoyed pizza, created crafts, and ended the night with a fun movie. This month, we’ll be adding to the mix a host of fun mini-competitions for kids to participate in to “Go for the Gold.” This month, the kids will enjoy an obstacle course inflatable, Olympic craft, relay races, dance party, parachute games, Olympic trivia, and the movie Rio.

Remember, we take care of dinner, too, so you don’t even have to feed them! Just drop them off at 6, be back by 10 to pick them up, and you’ll hear all about their exciting evening.  Ages are 5-12. The child to adult ratio will be 8:1, and each staff person will have been background checked. Kids Night participants will have the gym and auditorium to themselves so they will stay supervised in those facilities.
Don’t forget to wear your favorite team jersey or something to cheer on the USA!

Go for the Gold is Friday, August 5th from 6-10 pm.
