Full Time Housekeeping Shift Supervisor

The Housekeeping Shift Supervisor is a (Working Supervisor) reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall cleanliness of meeting rooms, concourses, hallways, stairs and restrooms in The Center. Working with Housekeeping staff and community service workers. The Shift Supervisor is responsible to do a nightly check and sign the nightly closing report provided. The Housekeeping Supervisor works closely with Housekeeping Manager to create a safe, clean environment for patrons and guests.  High School diploma or equivalent required; certification or degree in janitorial or housekeeping maintenance preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience cleaning large educational and/or recreational facility.  One-year verifiable supervisory experience required.  Floor care experience and/or certification in floor care preferred. Competent operation of cleaning equipment needed, ability to troubleshoot problems required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.  Excellent communication needed with the ability to supervise staff members who have varying educational and language skills.  Thorough understanding of related job safety requirements.

Part Time Housekeeper

Are you looking for a position where your skills and abilities will be appreciated?  The Jones Trust is seeking qualified bright smiling faces to join our housekeeping team.  In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for creating a positive impression of the Jones Trust at The CFN@St.Mary’s and creating a clean and safe environment in our facility. Housekeeping staff members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas, handling cleaning supplies, operating equipment, and creating a safe environment for patrons and staff. You must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the facility in order to maintain cleanliness. Current schedule available is 9am to 2:30 pm Monday-Friday and some Saturday evening hours.

FITNESS CENTER STAFF

Our state of the art fitness center is looking for enthusiastic fitness center staff.  This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons using the fitness center. Staff must be attentive to the needs of users, monitors the condition of equipment and controls the use of equipment by patrons.  Work hours are flexible and include day, evening and weekend hours.  Verifiable experience in a fitness center with experience in weight training and exercise programs preferred. Currently enrolled in exercise science, kinesiology or related field from an approved university is a plus.

In the newly opened Tyson Foods Fitness Center, our staff seeks to make an active lifestyle accessible to the entire community. From kids’ sports camps to our annual Couch to 5k program, we offer engaging fitness opportunities to get the entire family involved. Our growing Personal Training program offers small group training, individual private training, as well as services for local athletics teams and corporate organizations. Current certification with an NCCA-accredited organization required, BS in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field required. LIFEGUARD – BONUS OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

BONUS OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE! The Jones Center is Actively seeking Lifeguard applicants! Qualified applicants that are hired by May 28th will be eligible for a $100 end of summer bonus to be included in their first paycheck after August 31th.To qualify for bonus lifeguard must work thru Aug.18th, must work at least 20 hours per week and at least 9 weeks of the summer schedule. Permanent positions and temporary summer positions are available. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in and out of the water and maintaining a family oriented environment. Our lifeguards have the opportunity to work year-round in an indoor facility. We have flexible hours, morning, afternoon and evening shifts and Advanced Certification Opportunities. Masters swim instructor

Fitness Instructor

Immediate openings for certified group fitness instructors and personal trainers. Classes include circuit and weight training, boot camp, senior adult fitness, yoga, Zumba, spin, and youth fitness.
