Session Description: A six-week course, hosted at the Jones Center, includes a culinary introduction to international desserts. Join us as we travel the globe creating modern takes on traditional dishes. Students will learn proper techniques, build skills, while they expand their cultural palate.
Wk 1: English Banoffee Pie & Traditional English Tea;
Wk 2: Australian Pavlove w/ coconut Cream & Tropical Fruit
Wk 3: Syrian Sweet Cheese Pastry w/ orange blossom syrup
Wk 4: Sri lankan true love cake & faluda ice cream drink
Wk 5: Cuban Cornmeal Pudding & Haitian aksan cornmeal drink
Wk 6: Indian Gulaab Jamun & egyptian basbousa
